Naomi Show – Love life – Naomi Robson's online relationship, dating, sex, love advice web TV show. Expert tips, articles, videos, blogs.
How can you tell if you are with the right partner for you?
(This video was filmed as part of a pilot for Channel 7 – as you can see, we’ve used a different set.)
When it comes to relationships, how many times have you asked yourself the question:
“Am I with the right partner for me?”
Now, Naomi would admit that she’s gone out with a couple of guys over the years who, although they looked good on paper, turned out to be Mr Wrong! But she still hung in there months after the relationship’s use-by date. (Haven’t we all done this at least once in our lives? Well, if you haven’t you’re one of the lucky few.. at any rate, continuing on…)
Looking back, Naomi says she realises that if she’d been honest with herself, there were signs, pretty much from the beginning that the relationships weren’t going to work out.
Let’s face it, it’s easy to stay in a relationship and ’settle’ – sometimes it’s because you just want to be in a relationship, ‘any relationship’.. you might be scared of being lonely, or you can’t stand the thought of going back into the singles scene. But are good reasons to stay in a relationship that doesn’t bring your the happiness you deserve and can have?
Well, relationship expert and author, Eve Ash, says “No.”. She says there is a way to fast track working out whether you’re with the right partner for you or not..

Hi Naomi
What a great check list to use when you have real doubts in your relationship. With each of the 7 questions that I applied to my last long term relationship became clearer that I did the right thing to move on.
Love your show.
Hi Naomi!
I love this video! And the new set for the show! You and Eve look even more stunning than usual
I share your content all of the time! Keep up the great work!

My best friendships(and I include my mother in that) and relationships have come naturally and there is a synergy, you can sit in the lounge watching the footy or discuss some involved subject and the essence ‘flows’ . In assessing a partnership you first have to know yourself – I tend to be one on one oriented
and vary in groups, so the best partner for me is someone who makes allowances for my behaviour in group situations while retaining a very strong ’soulmate alliance’ . It is little use trying to conform to someone elses ‘model’ of a perfect partner which I think is a ‘myth’ that many couples suffer from. My mum wanted to marry a Clark Gable lookalike, dark and handsome, instead she got a fair haired man who got terrible sunburn in the summer! Cupid shoots his bow
and he hits you sometimes where you least expect it.
