    Daring to be great, motivating yourself is a very powerful force if you somehow get hold of it,but you have to also have the ability to cope with defeat, Ali was finally beaten by Frazier. I wanted to be the greatest novelist Australia has produced and I tried like hell, but I was in that case deluded and failed
    but it did not destroy my original driving force, it is as strong as it ever was
    and creativity is always ready to explode if there is a ‘catalyst’. With couples the old saying that behind every successful man there is a woman is very often true, the catalyst being the woman, and in these modern times the successful woman’s catalyst can be the man. Salavador Dali had his Gala, Dante had his Beatrice and so it goes. Even though I have had much failure and disappointment in my life I have not lost the ‘gift’ of daring to be great.
