What women HATE men saying or doing!

Men can often get a bad case of foot in mouth disease around women and we’re trying to find out what your pet hates are..

Please click on this post and add your pet peeves at the bottom.. no need to be a member just leave your thoughts in the comments box at the bottom of the page.

Let’s make a comprehensive list ladies.. so that men can be well-informed about what what really cheeses us off! And guys, you’ll get your chance tomorrow.

So, let’s get the ball rolling – these are a couple we found online – guys these are some things that can really kill that date…

  • On a first date – asking her how old she is
  • Asking her to pick YOU up for the date
  • Asking her why she’s still single and then following it up with – “Maybe you’re too picky”
  • Talking about the price of things – how “cheap” things are, or how it’s a “great deal” (you come across as a penny-pincher)
  • Picking her up in a messy car where she has to shove 3 or 4 things off the passenger seat to sit down
  • Asking her if she’s had plastic surgery or botox (it’s never a compliment)
  • Asking her “What’s your natural hair colour?”
  • Talking about her weight – whether it’s a compliment or not (Ie: you’re really skinny, don’t you eat? Or, do you think you should eat that?)
  • Equally, commenting on how much she eats, or doesn’t eat
  • Been on many dates lately?
  • Talking/texting on your phone while you’re on a date

Okay.. that should get you started.. So, girls please add your comments  - you can leave your list of what you hate men saying and doing in the comments box below – no need to become a member – just comment away – we can’t wait to hear what you have to say.

Men who ask you out and then expect you to organise the date .. for gods sake There is nothing more unattractive than a guy who has no oomph about him ..and is indecisive

it’s not about how expensive a place is . it’s about the thought behind it ..
    be a little creative

oooh yeah.. good one.. of course, sometimes if he’s saying nice things about Mum.. (not going on and on – cos that could be a little weird) it at least shows he has a good relationship with his Mum/family and that’s probably quite a good thing.

  3. Angela says:

What about guys who talk about their mothers on a date?

Great topic, as a guy I also advise NEVER, EVER starting a ‘date’ with: “So, um, what do you want to do… no really, tell me”

  5. bazza says:

And, never, back-one-out at the girlfriends place!!

  6. Love Guru says:

Excessive flirting – no woman is going to feel great if you keep flirting with the waitress.. sure you’re attractive but the flirting just seems like you’re really insecure and need to prove that you’re appealing.

Too much aftershave – yep we know you’ve got a good aim and you managed to get yourself with the spray but do you need to drown yourself in fragrance?

Taking a girl to a really bright restaurant full of screaming children and families – are you looking for romance or just a mate to have dinner with?

Ordering for me – I’m not 5 years old.

    Not leaving a tip.

Talking about your last relationship/divorce too much. Be present!
